I went to take my driver's test today and I passed! I was so happy. The last time I took it I was so nervous and I run a stop sign lol. This time I told myself okay I don't mind I pass or I don't pass it's not a big deal. I think having this kind of attitude helped me relax and I did well. Do you remember when you passed your behind the wheel test? How did you feel?

Congratualations on your fine achievement! Atleast i can say its really easy back here in Pakistan to get a driving liecense and you can really learn how to drive a vehicle back here with so much traffic jams and uneven roads quite an adventure in here hehehe,by the i passed some 7-8 years back and it was quite easy, anyways now you can enjoy your driving so best of luck for everything!

Well you are younger than me BrainTeaser. I had to take the test more than ones. It's true that we learn faster when we are young heh? Take care BrainTeaser!

Congratulations. I took my driving test a few days before I left for the US and I failed since I could not park the car properly. A few weeks in the Texas, I went for a driving test and I passed. After my college, i came back to my country and managed to convert the US driving license to the local license. Somehow the local test is much harder than the one in the US.

Hi shakeroo. I'm glad that you were able to convert your US driver license to a local one in your country. Good luck to both of us!

congratulations on passing your drivers test. I got my drivers license 25 years ago. That was the last time I took the drivers test. Every time I renew my drivers license I just have to pay 10.00 then I get a new one. That is because I have a good driving record.

Congratulations! Here in Canada there is a graduated lisenceing process. It takes around 3 years until you get your compelte lisence to drive on your own and wherever you would like. So congratulations on getting your lisence. It opens up a new world. You can do what you want and go lots of places. A few words of wisedom that I am sure you already know but I always want to tell everyone! Dont drink and drive and please wear your seatbelt.

I was supposed to take a driving test but with my disability of not being able to hear well, I don't think that will happen anytime soon. However I congratulate you on your passing. I'm sure it feels wonderful for you. Now all you gotta do is drive carefully, practice and you're on your way.

Thank you curvychick77. I thought that it was not a problem? Because even if we don't hear well we can train on other things and rely on our other senses. I hope you will find a solution soon. But if you live in an area where the public transportation is not a problem then there is no need for a car! I am 40 years old. I lived in Paris and then in Montreal. Both had the metro and good public transportation system. So I never felt I had to get a drivers license. But here in California it is so much spread out that you really need a car.

Congrats VotreAmie...... on you passing your DL..... :) Its true that nervousness can make things bad. We should just sit back and relax and not fear for whats gonna happen. Just keep your calm and do the work....... that sure will get you better results. Nervousness just makes you abnormal and things that you can otherwise do perfect can go bad. Believe in "Karma" and dont think of the fruits....... put in your best and the ........ fruits will follow....... :)
