So it's with your video card? Maybe you should try and take it out and re-insert it and see how that works. There are other types of video cards, I can't think of them on the top of my head right now... if you try what I just said though and it doesn't work let me know and I will try to help you out with anything else.

Did you try what I said? If it's the DRIVER then that should be easy to fix hun... just update it.

have you done a virus scan. I know that there is a virus that will cause your computer to continually reboot. I believe that it is called myadoom. Don't quote me there I may not have the correct name. But the symptom is accurate.

its not about viruses, i assume because i have done so much scans and nothing appears so it's the driver that errs.

I also got the same problem a week ago. I upgraded my memory to 1gig and then my pc started restarting. I think mine appeared as nv_sys, something, I forgot and then I updated my nvidia driver but it still restarts sometimes. So I downloaded windows memory diagnostics and tested my memory and it turned out that one of my memory has a problem so I took it out and had it replaced. I'm still waiting for the replacement but so far, I haven't had any reboot problems so maybe it's not your video card after all. Try downloading windows memory diagnostic and see if one of your memory has a problem.

After reading all the posts the only other thing can say is it could be over heating. Do you over clock at all? If thats not the case I had a similar problem that the agp card was slightly unseated on the motherboard. If a uninstall and install of an updated driver has not worked then go in to safe mode disable any unneeded processes while checking for rogue servcies. They look like random letters and numbers are try to mimic window services. If that is the case you do have a virus or a serious spyware infection. Good Luck
