Can anyone explain to me what this feature means and exactly what it is used for?
I had to buy myself a new cell phone over the weekend because my old one accidentally got washed in a load of clothes (BLUSH). I had to go ahead and get another phone the same day because my family and I all just go strictly be cell phone for our communication. This new phone I have has the bluetooth feature on it. I have heard of it before on television, of course, but I have never known exactly what it is used for.
Anyone who can give me some information I'll gladly take it.
Thanks a bunch!!

Bluetooth is a earpiece that you can use with your cell phone that allows you to talk to someone on the phone through your earpiece instead of the phone. You have to get the earpiece separately as i just upgraded my phone recently and it has bluetooth capability. The earpiece is small and wraps around your ear and you can talk in it and it has other cool features like telling the phone who to call in your address book. It makes for safer driving on the roads. I love it and am glad that I got it.

I really appreciate your information. I tried to turn it on on my phone but it said it was searching for devices so I just backed out of it. I couldn't figure it out. You have helped a lot!!

Hello!
I appreciate your information and your response. I have a piece of equipment that came with my phone but I'm not totally sure if it is bluetooth or not. I've not had a chance to check yet but I intend to really soon. Having something without wires would be great traveling down the road. :)

Bluetooth is a way of wireless communication between two devices with BT (in a range of 10-100 metres) ..lets say b/w your phone and laptop ...by using bluetooth you can transfer files like images , ringtones b/w ur mobile and your laptop ..or you could use a BT headset and use ur mobile without even touching it using ur BT headset

That is really helpful to me and I appreciate your response. We don't have a laptop but we travel a lot so I can use it with my phone so I don't have to use my hands while driving. Thanks for your information!

Until I seen the topic of your discussion I had no idea what you were talking about. I of course asked my boyfriend who went all technical on me so of course I had to find a site that made it easier for me to understand. Plus I felt the need to share with you. Check this site out.
