I have recently being trying out second life. I have found it quite interesting so far but it does take up a lot of time. One thing I noticed is that my broadband speed isn't quick enough so I am upgrading. Also I think I could do with a faster PC but that will have to wait. Anyway Second Life is looking promising. I am starting to build some stuff that hopefully I can sell. Have you tried second life?

I have played for a bit over a year and absolutely love it. I complain about the bugs and stuff, but you won't find a way to socialize online that's anything like it. even IMVU and There aren't nearly as nice or customizable. I think it's cool to see big corporations joining up!

Hellow fellow second lifer. You must have a pretty good PC. I was trying it out for a while but my PC is just not upto it. I will be back into it when I upgrade.

It's good, but the most important thing for SL to run well are the video card and ram. I have a 3.2 ghz p4. I know some of the supported graphics cards for Second Life are pretty inexpensive as well. I hope that you are able to play soon. If you want to add me as a friend here and speak with me when you get back in. I'll show you where to find some great freebies.

I originally started playing Second Life late last year, but I didn't stick with it because I didn't really know anyone and was nervous around so many people, and because I I could figure out how to play the games and got angry at myself. Basically, I chickened out. *blushes*
But, a few days ago, my best friend joined Second Life, and we hangout together there now. It's much more fun with friends, and I've sort of become addicted. The only thing is, currently, it slows my computer down a bit - but I bought 1GB of Ram, so soon, I can play everything perfectly. :D
