I am reading and re-reading [some] of the Valdamer books by Mercedes Lackey. I really am enjoying these a lot. The ones I am re-reading I read a long time ago and it is nice to finally have them 'set' into the timeline.
I do tend to pick one or two authors and read everything I can find by them before moving on to a new 'favorite'. Does anyone else do this?

I do get hooked on an author sometimes, and want to read all or most of their books. I'm almost finished with Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe series of historical novels (21 of them!) and just wish there were more of them. I tried his series on King Arthur but didn't care for it, so sometimes it's just a particular series that has the appeal.
I read practically all of John Le Carre's books quite a while back, and keep meaning to catch up on the most recent ones.

I've been reading this book called The Five Love Languages. My husband and I are newlyweds, so it's a book that his chaplain recommended to us to help keep our marriage strong. It's really pretty interesting, and I actually really like it. I always like reading relationship books though. hehe

I haven't read that book but I think I have heard others refer to it. If it is the book I am thinking of it teaches you to 'speak' to your partner in the 'language' of love that your partners understands? Is that the one? That makes sense to me, by the way, if I show my love one way, and my partner shows his another--------we could totally miss or miss-understand how much we mean to that person, and visa-versa.

I just started Solitude: a Return to the Self, by Anthony Storr. I read it years ago and liked it very much, but I think I"m going to get a lot more out of it this time. Just having a hard time making headway because it gets so many ideas started in my head that I have to make notes.
