Most unusual summer job?

I live in a university town but go to school out of state, so getting a summer job is almost impossible. This will be especially bad this year as I can't work weekends because I have lots of weddings and graduations and things I've promised to go to. So, I want to know, what's the strangest summer job you've ever had? What's the weirdest "I got a job at random" story you've ever heard? I once called a place up and asked them if they wanted a summer intern, and they said they hadn't had one before and it might be interesting, and I got a great summer job out of nowhere. I want to hear your stories! (I just hope they give me some ideas!)

I guess the strangest job I had was working at a drive-in movie theatre as a car hop. The strangest thing about it was that I did it all year long, after the summer had ended and I began college. I worked during snow storms and cold weather. You wouldn't think that people would go to a drive-in all year long, but they did. I'll never forget that job or the strange people I met.
