I am wondering if there is as much examination and discussion of Christianity and other religions in Asia and Africa as there is in western countries. I wonder this because of the large number of conversions there to foreign religions.

I can not speak for Africa but in my own little corner of Asia, Thailand, I wish there was more discussion and not what is approching a civil war between Buddhism and Islam. The words have stopped and been replaced by bombs.
Christianity is regarded with mild curiositie and amusement. Ninety plus percent of the people here are Buddhist and can't quite figure out why they need someone to save them from sin when sin does not exist in Buddhism.
