nice question. like most who have replied above me it baffles why such non-serious questions get the most response. glad to read the responses here. at least now i have an idea why the responses are so many.
but still why would so many respond to such non-serious topics? when i see a response count that reach 30 i no longer respond to a topic. almost everything was said before your opinion. but for a topic with title "Am i pretty" that reaches a hundred response even if all of them are friends still boggles my mind.

Simple minds are what makes the world turn... everyone wants to know stupid answers to stupid questions so they too can share to the world that they are not alone in their stupidity!!

That's a really good question, and I wish I had an answer for you. But I've been thinking the exact same thing. The one thing I have noticed with quite a few of the silly ones is that, when I have checked out the profiles of the posters, they have a million and two friends on their friends list. So maybe that's how they get away with it....all of their friends are the ones responding. Other than that......I got nothing. LOL

Personally I try to get a few friends who can carry on some discussions with me. I know they may not be able to respond to all of my topics or allthe topics may not interest them. But still I can't find any. Just a while ago I really didn't care if I got kicked out this forum so I posted a very stupid post. But to you guys in this topic, I apologise and I think I will check out your topics now. Talk soon.

There really are some very awesome people on this site that post excellent discussions and responses, and they are wonderful friends too. You just have to keep looking for them and you'll find the ones you want to be friends with (or they may find you first! LOL).

It's like it is a huge dose of Anti-Logic, where the stuipidest things that do not deserve any response get shedloads...whats up with that?

drives you nuts doesnt it?! me too.
i think its mostly because the interesting topics require a bit of thought to reply to. and most ppl here just want to type a couple of lines and speed off to the next one in hopes of earning that cent that much faster.
either that or there are a lot of simple minded ppl here? lol
