Please take a look at these cuties. The white one is Shorty and the browny black one is Fatso(he was called Mystery but he does not stop eating so we changed his name.) My husband made their cage, the top comes completly off, we also set up an area in our kitchen so we can sit and cuddle them, and so they are with us during the day. I never knew they were such noisy pets! They crack me up.

I had a look at the photo of them on your profile, and I have to say they are lovely!
I used to have several Guinea Pigs (or Cavies) and the best one was a rosette one (so called as the fur grows to look like rosettes) called K-9 (can you guess I'm a Dr Who fan?). He was black and white and makings wise he was like black all over with specks of white...and a pure white belly. I used to take him into school for my frinds to see and they thought he was awesome!

Thanks Dumpertaker I think they're lovely too. Hey cool name, I too am a Dr Who fan well maybe thanks to my Husband a fanatic, he loves all the episodes. At the moment we are watching all the episodes with Tom Baker. We have just finished the Jon Pertwee series. His brother has basically all of them and we started at the start and have been going through them in order. Back to the guinea pigs...thanks for taking a look, I was actually suppose to put a photo with this discussion but I did it wrong, and it didn't quite work out that way! Glad you thought to go to my profile.

I had a guinea pig years ago and I named her Fatty. When we got her she was pretty small. A long haired white thing, quite happy but my god did she live up to her name. I know its quite bad when they get big, and I don't think she was huge but she certainly ate a lot.
Your guinea pigs are quite cute.
