no i don't. honestly, i don't wash my own clothes. but i do wash my hanky. that is the only wash i can accomplish well but sometimes, i do wash if i badly need something to wear and end up having wounds in my fingers because my skin is so sensitive to detergents.

I can remember when my husband and first got together washing our clothes by hand as we didn't have the money for a washing machine . Now it would be seldom that I bother with this as we do have a washing machine and I can't seem to catch up on our wash with so many of us in the household as there are seven of us . But there are odd things that I will still wash by hand especially if is and outfit that I am worried about getting wrecked in the washer or something that has a stain on that I feel should be scrubbed right away so as not to ruin :)

The advantage of washing clothes by hands is you know where the stain is, so you should scrub that part.

Untill last five years, I was washing all clothes with my hands not only mine but of my whole family. I don't mind washng them by hand if they are less, but if you have to wash clothes of whole family, together with bedsheets and curtains and etc etc.......believe me, washing machine is gift of God. I think my life has extended due to washing machine........lol, NO strengh now to wash so many clothes by hand. I know I am getteing old now........good for this generation, they already have washing machines. They will not even know what is washing clothes by hand, except some special people like you.........Good Habit.

I am living alone right now, no choice maybe the reason. When I was with my family, we washed our clothes together at only once a week and get tired after. It was at the province, no electricity... so we got to make our hands doing that job.

Im living alone and away from my family so I wash my own clothes by hand washing. Sometimes I hate the thought of washing my clothes but I dont have the choice but to do so, coz if I will not wash my own clothes, I will suffer. Sometimes when I get too lazy I stock my clothes for two weeks, so many and I get too tired after washing it.

yes i wash mine and my family's clothes too... for a valid reason... hahaha I am very particular with the quality of doing the washing and it is expensive to have it wash outside or paid "labanderas".. I use washing machines, follow the guidelines so your clothes will not get wear off... hey spare me from handwashing its terrible....nice day hope to hear from you and respond to my discussion... good pm.

Your right... I am aware of the quality of washing my clothes too and yes, it is expensive... "why not do it by myself and pay myself", I said to myself. Have a nice day too. Hey, "labanderas", what is that term? Nevermind, just kidding. :D. ~mar

I also washed my own clothes with my hand. As far as I know it is our traditional ways on washing clothes. This is the best way to clean and manitain the quality of our clothes compared on using a washing machine. Do you agree with me?

Yes I do wash my own clothes because no one will do it for me. But if i am tired and I dont feel like doing it on weekends then I just go to a laundry shop with my clothes and let them do it for me for a cost.

How much do you pay for the service. How it works? By pieces, by five or what? I was doing that last month because I have school during the day and work at night, I don't time for washing my clothes. Finally, I finished my school and back to normal life... washing my own clothes. Thanks for your response. ~mar

no my servant washes my clothes.but i doubt about the neatness of clothes. for me it will take 1 hour to handwash 1 bucket of clothes.but my servant hardly takes half and hour to do so.i dont give my costly clothes to them for washing.
