In posting your reply or comments to a discussion, do you read other member's response first before responding? Or it doesn't matter?

I sometimes read it.But not often.I just post my opinion.I think its better to read the responses first.I have to correct me from now on.If ht eresponses is going pages and pages then we can just ignore to read. But if the responses are only in one page then we can read and then make our response.

It definitely matters, I don't want to personally answer a discussion that asks for a specific answer if someone has already answered it or given the contributions I would have said. What purpose would an answer of "yes, I agree" give to a discussion? However, if it's about opinion or a personal preference, then I usually will go ahead and do a little something for the question if there is something for me to add to the discussion.

I usually respond to a discussion impronto, i dont read the comments or response of other members first before giving my own response. I first give my response before reading other persons response.

I usually read the responses first just to make sure I'm not repeating everything that's been previously said.

I read responses too, but if there are too many to read, just read the first page.

When I respond to a discussion, here or anywhere else, I usually read all the comments or questions before mine. Not only to get an idea of other people's opinions and thought, but also just for fun.

Firstly, i read other members' responses then try to imagine myself in the poster's shoes before responding so as to give the best advice i can or what i would have done if i were to be in that situation.
