Do you usually use dishwashing liquid at home?

Dishwashing liquid (I dont like the paste) is the best thing to use not only for dishwashing but also for cleaning up some stuff in place of a laundry bar. I love the performance of this wonderful liquid when i use it to wash my son's feeding bottle. The smell and the stickiness just vanished away at once. I get inspired to wash dishes and it piss me off when it's not around in the kitchen.. It makes the dishwashing task so easy and clean.

Sure! We in the States use it all the time. Dishwashing liquid has been here since the 1060's, when "Dawn!" made it's debut.
Please tell us a little about dishwashing paste! It sounds interesting. I suspect I'd use that if I didn't have a rag or sponge. Does it contain abrasives?
I'm thinking that it might be useful on a camping trip. We don't have paste here. :(
A funny note is that many people like to make their own hand and dish soaps as a hobby. Simply shave a bar of clear soap (of any scent) or grate it, add it to water, and heat it up (on the stove or in the microwave) until the shavings dissolve. Viola! Instant hand or dishwashing soap. ;)
