Whenever you teach, what do you apply in your teaching? What are your principles?

I've always followed the vision mission of the school. All the techniques that I've been taught are always part of my day to day activities but putting the needs of the students first. Then I go to the "base" of my style in teaching, touching the young mind to think and the young heart to appreciate. In this way, students will be able to ponder on their values and hopefully apply their learnings to their lives.

I gave example How olden days people get fire Students replied by rubbing two stones Then i asked what you get or what you observe Students replied on rubbing we hear sound then ? I asked . student replied After that the rocks gets warmed up then ? again i asked then fire then is answer i got Now i explained Energies are Sound, Heat, Light as energy wise order so on like this i give practical examples so that student can remember for ever.

My teaching philosophy is aligned with the mission-vision of our institution, the teachings of the Church, and educational philosophies which are aligned with the two. My institution is a sectarian one, so its teachings are based on grounded principles of the faith with Christian Formation as the core curriculum. We envision our graduates to be "all to all, with a special concern for the poor."

I'm disabled now, but I was a classroom teacher and I also taught teaching skills at my Uni. My teaching was content-driven. I would know my students strengths and weaknesses through pre-testing. I would clearly define what I would teach and teach it using whatever means necessary. I also believe you need to use many modes of learning: visual, auditory, hands-on, etc. My lessons wre therefore quite interactive! I taught low achieving inner-city kids. After teaching I'd test. If the student mastered 80% of the content, they would move on to the next topic. If not, I'd reteach in small groups and posttest after reteach. My students knew I'd give them my best and I expected their best in return. I'd strive to be positive every day and to never embarrass them, but it was clear that I was the boss. I didn't hesitate to contact parents as needed and I got to know many parents well. 99% of parents care deeply and want their child to reach his/her potential, so I got help every time I reached out. Hope this helps you in your daily work.

I am a preschool teacher so my philosophies are pretty simple to relete to their ages. I believe that every child has the right to learn and to feel special. They deserve your full attention and they need to know you value what they tell you. A child's excitement is contagious.

Different children would require different teaching methods. I am a teacher that believes in using all methods as long as I see results in my pupils. Whether it is used by others is not important to me as long as my pupils learn well. Methods like modeling, role-playing, linking to prior knowledge, hands-on activities, using IT as a tool, Multi-intelligent methods and so on are all possible ways for me.

I encourage my students to teach themselves and help them where they have difficulties.I answer their questions. When I explain the frequently asked questions, I try to be humourous and make my class lively and interesting. My principle is to help them help themselves.
