i think any club is glad to make buffon be his gatekeeper.as a fan of man.u,if buffun come to old trafford,i will be very happy.but i think the day of his coming is far.

we dont need a striker but a midfeilder and maybe a wing.

we have foster as cover for van der sar but i do think we need a striker

MESSI indeed humph!. I believe we should get players who want to play for us. and surely no player can be forced. My pick is 1. GK Igor akinfyev (Russia) 2. CM Samir Nasri (France) 3. Huntelaar (holland) I accept my picks are based on Fifa Manager. But theses players are held in high regard in their respective country. And by the way Buffon is Old [:(]

They should not replace van der sar as he is good. They should buy eto'o or klose

Messi is glued to barcelona and they need him more than ever it is going to be very difficult for barcelona to allow Messi go. Replacing Vav der sar with Buffon is not too right because of age. Most clubs in the world expecially ManU will not give him more than a year contract.

Van der sar can go on for another year or so. and messi, probably not. Barcelona will not negotiate for such a young talent. Man Utd need someone who will fit in the current man utd squad now. I think that should be Berbatov, his style of play is like Nistelrooy. A great finisher, a natural striker. That is what Man Utd need to strengthen in attack now.
