I'm starting to research which programming language(s) is/are best suited for 64 bit. I know .Net claims at least some 64 bit capabilities, however from my understanding the numbers are still limited to 32bit. Ideally I would like to find a language capable of handling 64bit numbers.
I have several programs I maintain that deal with very large numbers. (hundreds of digits) Changing from 32 to 64 bit would allow speeding these up.
