I hate studying.. I only study when I'm in the mood. Here are 5 smart ways to study.. this tips will help you study in the best way possible!
highlight: according to most students and also teachers, using orange and green highlighters helps them remember concepts better during exams.
use retrieval cues: these are things that help you remember something. If a song reminds you of a person, that is a retrieval cue. If you're a visual person, use images of things around you. Associating these with concepts you need to learn will help you to remember.
group or solo studying: stick with the one you're more comfortable with. If you prefer a group, be sure to choose the right study mates.
look beyond the exam: have something to look forward to after the exam--it'll help ease the pressure and stress.
be obsessive-compulsive: Okay, not really. But be prepared and organized. Lay out all pens, notes, and books in front of you while studying.

I'm a serious serious crammer. I study for exams the day before it. I tried studying a few days in advance, you know, in small increments, but the exam came, and I totally forgot the things I studied the earliest. I still do try to study early now and try to make time to re-read everything, just brush through it. But I do pass with the cramming. :)

I like to study one day before exams cause I think it's more effective than I study one week before. But sometimes I failed in my exams if the material is too much.

Serious reading within two days is good because, it keeps memory fresh on the things you have just read-But doing general reading two to three weeks on all the topics you are preparing for would be a good thing-by the time you begin to read on as the papers come, you have a general over view of the subject matter. Otherwise if you have wide topics, covering them just in two days may not prepare you well enough! It gets worse if you have two papers on the same day, here early preparation would do the trick

For me the days to study for an exam have gone by! that is to say that i have completed my education.
During my student years i used to study a month before the exams! i paid special attention to Maths as i was and still am very weak in it.
I used to be so obsessed with getting good grades that i used to stop sleeping in the nights and used them for studying!

i wanna study a day before or the night before ;) but if my exam has a very long coverage then i'd study and prepare days before my exam. . but sometimes i get lazy and i'd study the night before and even cram on the day of my exam..
