Do you apply the above in you life? work? business? relationships? "Work hard", "Work smart not hard", "Work Smart and Hard", which one do you agree with?
first of all, it's definately not easy to define "smart" and "hard". if my norm is to work 4 hours a day, definately 8 hours of work per day is going to be "hard" work. On the other hand, "smart" does that mean you do what's best? or do you think and do outside the box. In MLM (multi level marketing) normally they teach us not to reinvent the wheel. This is because their marketing system has already been proven so and so. so we just follow. or do we fix it, so it becomes better?
Anyway, tell me which one do you choose or prefer? "work hard", "work smart not hard" or "work smart and hard". Also tell me do you apply what you've chosen above in you life? work? relationship? etc...

I would like to work smart, but end up working hard. If i could have worked smarter, I would have been earning much more than to be posting in mylot

i would like to do work smart and hard, working hard in life is good but without result work will be tired and unusefull, i think a person should have some aim of work otherwise it will be vain in spite of you are working hard.
sometimes a person who is working hard may not get as success as the person who work less but do it smartly, i like to use this in every field of my life no metter it is work anywhere else.

thanks for your comment, personally i like working smart and hard too. though, when it comes to emotions (feeling down, tired, lazy, not-motivated, lost someone, angry) it's difficult to be "smart" and work hard isn't it?

I love the expression, "Work smarter, not harder."
It means that by using your brain to figure out how to do a job more efficiently, you will save your physical strength... for example, you have to move a huge pile of leaves to the curb, which is 50 feet away ~ you can either move many little piles with a rake, move a giant pile by raking away until you reach your destination...or you can rake the big pile onto a tarp and pull the tarp of leaves faster and in one trip... that's smarter, not harder!
