Do you use slippers inside the house?

hai jayanvarkala good evening from India,warm welcomes you,very good question, as for me i like to wear slippers inside the house is different from outside sandals or shoes,inside slippers i use in the bath room only,and in all other rooms i prefer bare foot and when the bare foot stress on ground the blood circulation goes on increasing,and inside slippers are need because we bath,or toilet the possibility of germs moves along with us in bare foot because they are wet so leave them at the bath room door and cleanse the feet on mat in front of the bath room and u can move bare foot,some way it is good and in some way it is bad,and using the same slippers outside and inside is not good thing and it troubles our health soon,i never like to place outside used slippers or shoes ,sandal inside room we kept outside in shoe stand

Well, in our case, we do wear house slippers inside our house, but have a different pair of slippers when we go out the house. In other words, those house slippers used inside have never been used outside and is generally clean. This way, we keep our feet clean as they are protected with slippers. At the same time, we don't get our house dirty since we don't bring our slippers from the outside. How's that for best of both worlds?

even in my house we don't slippers...even i don't like wearing slippers in the house..we both are of same opinion :)

I dont use silppers ( I mean foot wear ) inside my house. I dont like too. But I have seen so many places people use foot wears inside the house. But they may not be using those for outside use. In some cases it is acceptable , for eg. I heared that Marbles cool nature will affet & it is adviced to use silpers if your floor is marble. For old aged peoples it is hard to substand the cool they get (u know jayan "maravikkum")so it is better to wear a chappal. So for health sake it is acceptable. in other case answer is "NO".

Slippers are not supposed to stray round the house in my house. They have a designated role and place. Any slippers caught trespassing will be prosecuted and exiled.

we use slippers inside and outside our house.. we have different slippers good for outside and inside we're not comfortable if we don't wear slippers inside the house even the floor is clean ^_^

I thought that's what slippers were for? I always wear slippers around the house, I get cold feet a lot so like to keep them warm with my slippers. Sometimes I just wear socks, but we have a tile floor in the kitchen and the cold can go through the socks so I prefer to wear slippers when I'm in there. So do you wear slippers at all? I have a pair of slipper boots that I usually only wear outside, if I'm just going to the shop and too lazy to put on real shoes lol

Yes, I use slippers and/or socks. Myself, I do not care what my friends or family use in my home as long as they are comfortable.

I use slippers inside the house but for inside alone, not to be taken outside. I don't like to step on the floor barefooted because it makes my feet cramps...

We sometimes use slippers inside the house. But its a general culture in India to keep all kind of footwear outside the house I think. But slippers is cool - coz they are just for use inside.

My elder brother uses slipper inside the house and he is into this practice from childhood.but other than him none of use slipper inside home.I think this differs from country to country.Places with extreme winter climate for most of the year, people have to wear slippers as its not easy to walk with bearfoot inside the home in chilled floors. Doctor has advised me to use slippers in winter season as i have wheezing problem.but i wear socks instead and manage.I dont find using slipper at home as bad.

i don't like wearing shoes at all in my house. the only time i have anything on my feet is winter,when it's drafty.you kind of have to. if i had my way,i'd have people leave their shoes in the hall when they enter my house,and keep the dirt down.

Hi, In winter time my family and I usually wear our slippers in the house, but not outside. Slippers can be a good thing, they bring warmth to our cold feet, and my opinion about slippers in the house, I dont have anything bad to say about them, I enjoy having warm feet in winter.

I dont care either way.. I always wear my thongs around the house all day every day but only because if i dont my feet get very sore walking around on the tiles all day.. I never make people take their shoes off to come in the house either.

We don't wear slippers in our house either. I guess it's part of the culture here not to wear any slippers while in the house. Also, it's partly because we live in a tropical climate where the weather is warm all year round so there's no need for slippers to keep our feet from cold floors in winter.
