Would religion teaches bad or the person interpreted the teaching wrong?

Please don't take me wrong. religion is a very sensitive issue. But I need people's opinion on this subject. I don't mean to say anything bad about any religion. In my country, religion is a serious and very sensitive issue. People wear the religion as their identity. They do things under the name of one religion. I always believe that no religion will teaches wrong. Only the follower misunderstood the teaching, they are too proud of the teaching, over confident. They are too naive or (sorry) stupid to understand the teachings and filterize those that had been taught to them. These kind of attitudes leave a religion a "bad name". Also there's one question, why the Christians and Moslems always in an opposite side? Am I wrong? But as far as I know, both have the same core. The crusade? Ridiciluous! I think it's not a war about the religions themselves but it's more because there are people who are too greedy who wants to conquer a land or else. Anyway, let me hear others idea about this topic. Thanks very much.

religion in m opinionig a gift to human being as a greatest gift of god to get civilzed through discipline. but we have devided it to many folded ethics as per our convenience, which obviously turned out acrimonious, without realizing the inner philosophy of it. religion origianlly like water to quench the thirst of all. but the thirsty people are different in the way of taking the water to quench the thirst, creating discrimination and acrimony. religion's essence will remain indistincly smelled until another advent of a devine person after a huge cataclysm takes place.

A book by or about Sai Baba said that religions are like rivers. All the rivers in the world will finally meet at the sea and ocean. It was a good example about religions in the world. Somehow it make sense but knowing the fact that human made the rules in religions, what you should do and don't then I thought religions are human tools to get a power. Once a person, a group of people can provoke a community or more thru religions (which is easier because people will easily believe in their religious leader) then they can achieve their goals of conquest.

There are too many people doing bad things in the name of religion, I really don't think any one really knows which book is right or who wrote any of these books anyway and then over the years they have been interpreted by many and I think many have read their own beliefs into them...There con only be one higher power so really all but one book if any can be right.

It is my opinion that religion is being used to divide the world, because it is in the hands of fallible human people.I beleive that christianity and islam are being pitted against each other by extremist people on both sides for there own ends. It is a shame when the precept of generally all religions is 'love your fellow man'. I am not a religious man, but I get incredibley angry when various attrocties eg. car bombings, Tribal massacres are commited by men in the name of God. I also believe that interpreting religion is essential, because as the world changes, religions will not(unless change comes from within e.g a group splinter away from a religion for a more traditional/forward thinking interpretation of that religion. I do believe that religion is a good thing because overall the values it teaches are 'good' and encourages people to be better people!

There is no Christian religion, Christ is the main thing. If you Christ as a saviour of the world,no religion has significance for you.If you see history, Abraham called by God, his deceadants are avialable in Israel that itself tells that Bible is true,Bible used by Christians & Jews are the same. But very later in the History Muslims had their Holy Book written differently from above.I firmly believe Bible as word of God, Christ came in human form is God.He himslef claimed that. Nobody claimed the way He claimed. Those who follow Christ will co-exist with their counterpart in peace & tranquility.Terrorism is not way of Christains, never can it be.Muslims kills people for their end, but killing poor & innocent people & their own people. Now you come your own conclusion, please read Bible God will definitely talk to you.

Yes, Christ is the main thing. Religion are made by human. I never know the contents of the moslems' Holy Book, but once my friend said that it was mention in it that Jesus is people's saviour. God is there before human, people make the religion and the story about the religion their versions. No man has the right to judge one's Godness from their religion point of view.
