I don't know what mine is called, but I have a fear of moths. I can't explain it and a lot of people laugh at me, but there it is.

I am deathly afraid of spiders. I know it;s silly and that most can't hurt me, my step father laughs at me, but hey it's psychological. I can't help it.

I refuse to let fear control my life. Fear is my enemy. Faith is my weapon which overcomes fear. Feed your faith and starve your fears!

I am deathly afraid of heights. So I have acrophobia and I won't even go to the edge of a high place. Ferris Wheels to me you can't pay me to go on one. I live near St. Louis and you couldn't get me up on the arch for all the money in the world.
I also am deathly afraid of spiders. Bathophobia. I can't stand the sight of them. They are creepy and I kill everyone I see.
I also have claustrophobia. I can not absolutely stand to be in a small space. I go crazy and start to hollar and carry on.
Some of the others you have listed I don't have any of the others and didn't know there were so many phobias out there. Thanks for the great discussion.

I know someone who has acrophobia, fear of heights. It seems that this fear was acquired from his parents who also has thesame phobia. I dislike worms or any crawling insects, that's why AXN's reality show "the fear factor" doesn't appeal to me at all.
