When asked by men if I am single, I never know how to answer that question. I am married, but am currently living separate from my husband. When asked, I usually say, married but separated, then the men that are hitting on me say something interestin, "Oh your single then?"!! What? No. Why do men view married women who are separated from their husbands as single and "up for grabs"?

First of all, I never have such situation in my country - I guess. It is because for us here, there is no such term of married but separated. For us here, if we find that there is a problem with our marriage, then we need to fix it and if we still unable to fix it then divorce is the result. Of course the men will say that if you are separated means that you are single and they can 'grab' you. By the way, may I know the term separated in your case means what actually? Is that due to any fight or missed understanding or separated due to any duty which makes both of you away to each other? Thanks

He's an abusive man, physically, emotionall, mentally, verbally the whole nine yards. I am still married to him, but I live in a different house. There are no papers filed with the courts. I wish to get divorced but his instability frightens me. He's overly possessive and controling and I find it hard to break away from his manipulations. I want nothing more than to be happy and be with someone who loves me. My hubby told me for 8n years that I was fat, i weighed 127 llb and am 5'6, now I weigh 108 and look anorexic, and he thinks I look great! I think I look awful.

Women and girls alwys have full attraction for the boyz. And they think that a married women but living separated is more attractive for them because they think she will also like him so they feel that but it is a negative thinking.
