Well I don't know much about Japan but I'm wanting to visit Japan too... Some day... You can try this website for more information about Japan http://www.mofa.go.jp/index.html If you go to the culture area and select visiting japan links they provide links to learn more about Japan. They even have Virtual Reality Tour! Nice...
