Paypal Money Request Question

I'm having a big problem. I have a friend that is trying to send me some money to my Paypal account with their Visa card, but when I send them a payment request from paypal it wants them to login to paypal. They don't have a paypal account, and they don't want to make one. I know there is a way for people to pay with just a card without having an account, but I need help because I forgot how to do it. If anyone can give me the information on how to do this I will be thankful.

I have buyers paying by paypal even if they don't have paypal accounts but I don't know for sure what steps they have to go through. I used to buy things from Ebay but I already have Paypal account at the time.

No, your friend needs a Paypal account. I have bought stuff from merchants and I always have to log in to my account. So he needs to sign up for an account and then he can send the money to your account. Have a nice day.

Hi Chris, I do not think that you can do this without having an account there with paypal any more I know that you used to be able to do this but due to verification number on the back of all credit cards today due to fraud that they may not be able to do this any more I know that in Australia we cannot do it without this but if someone else can do this then I wish you luck in their endeavour to be able to send you this money.

I had to upgrade my verified premiere PayPal account to a verified business account before I was able to receive credit card payments. Upgrading is free and doesn't require verifying again if you have already gone through the process. If that doesn't work than I would get in contact with someone at PayPal and see what they have to say about it.

I think you would have to have a business or premier account with Paypal for this to work without them having an account also. I think you will also get charged a processing fee for her using her credit card, but I'm not sure. It would probably be easier for her to just open an account; it is free after all.
