Torrents....Good for downloading or NOT

I have also downloaded a lot using torrents Torrents are the best and fastest way of downloadin anything from internet. Some torrents contain viruses.Thats a truth! Be careful of that torrents! Usually that torrents may be having size unsuitable to ur file or chances of viruses in compressed files are more like which are in rar or zip format.

I've been downloading torrents for 5 years now and never have I gotten a virus from any of it. I've gotten viruses from P2P software like Kazaa, Limewire, etc. But torrents are safer for me. One thing is that you can check out the file list before downloading. If any of it looks suspicious, don't download it. If there are .exe (executable programs) in there, do not run it. Other than that, torrents are the safest way. Get a good anti-virus like McAfee or AVG anti-virus which you can download for free, just search for it. This is just to be sure. Anyway, the best torrent site I know so far is Btjunkie.com. It's the most complete site without you having to sign up. Demonoid.com is good too but they don't allow non-members to download older stuff and they stopped membership for awhile now. Thepiratebay.org is okay too, and Isohunt.com. Just pick the one with the most number of seeders. It's gonna be the fastest. If your speed is 128, that will take a pretty long time, but you just have to be patient. What I do is I leave the computer on overnight. For a single movie that has a good deal of seeders, that will be more than enough. Sometimes it only takes 6 hours or so. But if you're downloading whole seasons of TV series, it usually takes me a week or two.

Voice of experiance here. I used torrents to download and sometimes they are tracked . Well my server was contacted by the copywrite people our net was shut down for 2 days.I wont be doing that again anytime soon. I will find a cheap place i can buy the movies and download . Just be very careful.

The first time I downloaded a torrent, I got a virus. I never downloaded any of them again. Many torrents are illegal, anyway. At the time, I did not know anything about them, I just wanted to download some of the TV shows that I missed. But, I will never download them again.

Yes,it is good for downloading for large files like movie or big program.The speed is faster than the method that not using torrent.Although sometime can bring virus, but you have to scan the files with antivirus.

I think Bit Torrent network is best way of downloading and sharing files. If you don't want to download files infected with viruses, trojans or others you must become a member of any trusted Torrent Tracker, where only picked uploaders upload files and they ensure that files are in good condition.
