When I'm home, I watch it at noon for an hour. I've always seen the episodes before, but it just never gets old to me. It's always so funny! I really enjoy watching it, it kind of makes my day.
The episode today was when Lucy goes into labor and everyone is scrambling around panicking and they forget Lucy!

I agree 100%! 2 me, "I Love Lucy" is the BEST sitcom of ALL TIME! The fact that it is OVER 50 years old, and the fact that I've seen EVERY episode a million times, yet I STILL laugh, is a testament 2 how CLASSIC this show is! It has ALL the elements of what makes a classic show, in my eyes, which are: 1) A memorable theme song (even though it's an instrumental, it's still EASILY recognizable), 2)Well developed characters (All 4 of the main characters...Lucy, Ricky, Ethel and Fred were of EQUAL importance 2 the show), 3) CHEMISTRY amongst the actors, and lastly, that indescribable "magic", that makes the show STILL FUNNY after all of these years! As far as FAVORITE episodes, I probably have MANY, but off the top of my head, I like the 1 where they hire Mr. Hiccocks 4 a business manager, and Lucy begs and pleads 4 him 2 give her more money, and he stands firm, and DOESN'T, and she then starts charging groceries 4 tenants, and taking their cash 4 HERSELF, and then Ricky thinks she's playing the stock market. Also, I love the "Bonus Buck" episode, when they fight over the winning dollar, and it accidentally gets thrown in with the laundry, and Ricky and Lucy have 2 "scramble" around 2 retrieve it. Hilarious! I also like the "Madame X" episode, when both Lucy and Ethel think the OTHER is "Madame X". And, I like the 1 when Lucy gets an inferiority complex, and they all try 2 get her back her confidence by tellin' her she IS a good joke teller, etc. I also like the 1 where Ricky sells their washing machine 2 Fred and Ethel, and, of course, it breaks down, causing fighting and misunderstandings. I could go on 4-ever with this show! There is NO OTHER show like it!

Those are all such good episodes! I knew each one when you described it. Thanks for this response. I Love Lucy is the best. The other day I saw the episode where Lucy thinks everyone has forgotten her birthday and she joins "The Friends of the Friendless" haha. I hadn't seen that one in years, so I was excited.

My favorite episode is when everyone goes without modern technology for a bet, or the one where everyong is fighting over the washing machine.
I agree. I Love Lucy is the only show I watch, and it's on back to back as soon as I get home.

I just watched that episode last week and its a great choice. My favorite is the candy where she tries to keep up, as one year I worked in a cannery and the vegetables just kept coming to me. I still don't eat certain vegetables.

I agree that it never gets old. I actually have loved this show ever since I was about 7 or 8, which is funny because kids that age don't generally like black and white shows, but I loved it, and I still do. I visited a tribute to Lucy when we went to Orlando, Florida, and that was very interesting. I think she was a wonderful woman, and she will never be forgotten!

I know what you mean. I've been watching I Love Lucy since I was little. Re-runs of course, but still Lucy just the same. I always laugh when I see them again. One of my favorites is when they're in Hollywood, and Lucy is at the brown durby, and William Holden is there, and it eventually ends up with Holden getting a pie in his face, and also everything that happens after, her putting on the fake nose, catching the fake nose on fire etc. Also the Vitavitavegamin one was great too. That one especially makes me laugh everytime I see it.

I love it to! I watch it everyday. Lucy was such a great actress and a superb business woman. Did you know that she ran all of her shows herself? The business side anyway. I have many favorite episodes and just love Desi. He was so handsome! Hallmark channel just put her on everyday. So now she is on Hallmark and Tvland!
