Is it Possible to Get pregnant After having a Tubal Ligation???

I am 23 years old i had a tubal ligation performed in July of 2005. and now i am having a few signs of Pregnancy tender sore breast, nausea, Missed periods. For me my periods are like clock work so i am a lil worried!!! Does any one know if it is possible or is it all in my head???

Yes, you could be pregnant. Go to the doctor and be sure that they do a test as my surgeon told me that they are only 97% effective. However, most women if they do get pregnant end up with a tubal pregnancy and that can be dangerous to you so I would say go make an appointment now with your doctor.

Thanks for your advice i called my doctor and i have an appointment for may 8th!! so we will see whats up with it

Yes, it is possible. My sister did. Now that was 20+ years ago and procedures may have changed since then, but my sister did get pregnant and because her tubes "were tied" the egg remained in the fallopian tube and was then considered a tubal pregnancy and had to be terminated.
If you think you may be pregnant, see your doctor. Even vasectomies can come undone.
