where is lost going? (lol i know..getting lost right?!)

dont get me wrong i think lost is a great show, but i dont see where it is going with the plot. Anybody know what i mean? like in the begenning there was a huge machine sounding thing rompin about in the jungle. what ever happend to that, i wanna know more bout that! and theres an episode where john loke gets "captured" by a huge funnel of smoke. What the heck was that? i want an explanation. like i said i love lost but jeez get the plot straight...

I agree, the focus of the show has really changed from in the beginning. I think there are so many storylines, and theyre all so deep that its near impossible to tell us everything we want to know in 1 hour every week. Wasn't the black cloud thing shocked by the electronic fence - the same one that supposedly killed the Russian (btw - what the heck! Hes still alive?!) Also, how on earth did the helicopter find them? so many questions....

the heli didnt find them it was on a rescue mission for somthing else and it crashed on the island but the woman ejected thus the parachte

I'm thinking that they made us all think way too hard, and when everything is explained, it will all fall together. We will be extremely disappointed by the simplicity of it all. Anticlimax.
I do love the show, though, and would not stop watching for anything.

isn't that black smoke 'monster' the thing that makes all the noise? Because a few episodes ago when Juilette and Kate were in the jungle they heard it, and Juilette knew to hide from it because even the others do not know what that stuff is.
I wanna know who the Dharma Initiative were, and what was their purpose on the island. Was it just a human behaviour experiment?
Every time I get or read a new theory it just brings up more questions! Hopefully they answer at least some things before this season ends, but then they will probably finish it with some new even bigger mystery lol
