Well it depends upon person to person about the time when they would like to have coffee.
I generally have coffee when my studies and scientific works drain my energy and make me feel tired. Having coffee at that time makes me refresh.
But having coffee at the time of lunch or dinner kills my hunger.Hence I don't have coffee at that time.
Thanks

i think its in the morning also, but when i go to work i dont drink coffee in the morning, the best time to drink coffee at office hours is during the siesta hours 1pm to 3pm, the time you really feels the sleepiness creeping into you... hehehe

I don’t fix any particular time to take coffee. My hubby and I will take coffee whenever we think we are supposed to have it. It can be in the morning, evening or at night but most probably is when we pass by a starbuck or a coffee bean and captured by the fragrance given out from the aromatic coffee then we will have a stop and take a cup of it.

Now i am no more a coffee drinker. i dont drink much coffee now a days . but i think to drink a coffee, the right time will be when you are very exhausted andyou need something that can revive you. i think is the one that thing which can revive a person when he is exhausted .
one can aslo take coffee when he/she is feeling sleepy because it is having caffenine, so your sleepiness vanishes after drinking it and you can complete your work more easily rather than doing while half sleeping or dozing.

hello coffee lover. :) yes, you are right, when someone is already immune to coffee, it doesnt really matter what time of the day he/she drinks it because they are already able to adjust its effect. :)

In Singapore, we don't really have fixed time for coffee. You can see people getting their morning fixes and even during their afternoon breaks, after dinner, or even at 3am in the morning. It's really anything goes for us.

Hello,jlara_gtr34,I think the best time to drink a coffe is at the morning jus tafter you wake up,as coffee contains caffeine which can keep you awake for sometimes,if you drink a cup or so at the morning, probably, you will not fall sleep during the day. It is still ok to drink at lunch but you should not drink it during dinner, you will not be able to sleep that night if you do so as the effect of the caffeine will make you stay alert all night.

yes, i think that is the most common advice for coffee drinkers. however, there are just some people who seem to be immune already to caffeine, just like my mom, lolz, and she drinks them anytime she wants, without having any trouble sleeping. :P lolz. :)

Normally people have coffee in the morning for breakfast. But I make one big pot of coffee for a whole day consumption. Everyone in my family loves coffee. Coffee is like drinking plain water, anytime when we feel like having coffee we have it ready done.

I really need my cup of coffee for breakfast but I love to have a break in the afternoon with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. I rather drink other things for dinner or supper. The afternoon coffee and cake hour is for me a time I always look foreward to in the day.

yes, filipinos are totally rice lovers.
i was lately away from our country for about a week. i thought that i can stand not eating rice for that span of time. thinking that i can substitute it with bread or potato.
but oh no. i was totally wrong.
the first few days were ok. i ate toast for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and supper. but on the fourth day, i just craved for rice!
i think that rice has been a part of our life, that it is very vital to our meal. lol. we will really miss it especially when unable to eat it for a long time.

*** oops! my bad, this goes to another of your post! lol.. it's1:00 in the morning, and i'm sleepy.. lol
well, to answer THIS post, i think that drinking coffee really depends on when you want the caffeine to kick in. if you are usually sleepy in the mornings, then it should be taken for breakfast. if working on night shifts, then it can be taken at night.
but for me, i drink coffee anytime i want, when i'm in the mood for it. =D

wow, you must be one heck of a coffee drinker! lolz. :) well, i am just curious, is your coffee decaf or cafeinated? wont you feel jittery and nervous? because i have heard that drinking too much coffee causes that to happen to people.
