street children works for syndicates

its sad to know that because of poverty, a lot of children are roaming on the streets asking alms to strangers. they have to do this to be able to survive from hunger. but there are really people who are greedy and lazy like syndicates who uses street children to be able to get money...money that they didnt work for and will just use to alcohols, drugs and women. that is why nowadays, it is not advisable to give money to street children no matter how pitiful they are. there are a lot of ways to help them aside from giving food and clothing or bring these street children to the department of social welfare development or whatever equivalent to your country of the said organization. by this, you were able to help them & save them from danger and accidents from the street.

Very well said, clarah. Unfortunately, this is an issue which has been around for generations already. We've been through a lot of Presidents and yet nobody was able to do something about this. The saddest thing here is that the parents of these street children are actually encouraging their little ones to beg for money.
I honestly do not mind giving money to these children. I'm such a softie where the children are concerned. Whether they use the money to buy their own food or end up in the hands of the syndicates, we will never know.

One time when i was riding a jeepney there were very small children with ages between 4 to 7, they were very dirty and they look hungry and just gotten up from sleep. Together with them were their father who was smoking and they got down in front of the church and the kids started asking for money to all the people who passes by. See the parents were the ones who forced their children to beg while they do nothing and layaround. Why make lots of children when you can't afford to feed them all and take care of them and send them to school and have a decent life.

we can't really understand why there are some parents who don't care for their children's future. all they think is their selves. its so pity to think that lots of children today are suffering because their parents are lazy and hard-headed. hope time will come that the government will resolve this problem in our society.

It is terrible how adults exploit children but to me the absolute worst is that some parents purposely maim their children so that they can be beggars.

yeah, you have a point in there. well, its maybe because of crisis, people were desperate enough to do such things. just cant imagine that they were able to do that to their own kids. life's for others is really miserable.

i think so these childrens are begging for some other people. these syndicate peopel kidnaped these childrens from there homes and beat them and compel them to go for begging. I think these syndicates has world wide relation ship. Some of the children are given for working in the kitchen these childrens are treated as slaves without giving food and money they have do work
