I enjoy being a part of helium this was the first website that I was able to earn more than 30-50 cents in one day ON The Internet.
This 17$ x 2 was earned from the market place articles and I was so encouraged to keep trying that I am now confident I will become one of those who boast of making a living on the net,(not necessarily helium only but with multiple income sources including this very myLot).
Now with the contest going on there is a greater chance that persons will get clicks thus earn more.
How did you earn your most at helium?

Congrats for the first $$$$ earned on internet. I have been at helium for some months.I am not so good at writing is a fact that I would admit despits having many ideas.I have earned most money writing for the contest. There was a contest some months ago for 7 weeks.I got 20$ every week and that made 140$.Then in this contest, only once I managed to get 20$.4 times I got 5$.One week I did not compete.I do not have time to write 100 over articles with a baby to look after and other chores.

I commend you for making so much.I tried to write many articles and could not keep up with the pace of others. Once I was in the pending 5$ and then did not get time to write and obviously my name disappeared down the list. So as above I go for Marketplace and do my best work(for high rating articles) instead of quantity. I wish I could do quantity too I will try to write more since you did well.

The most I have gotten from Helium is $5 by writing for the contest. I have yet to make cash out ($25). Most days I only make a few cents. I wish I could figure out the system for making better money on Helium; to me it seems like a lot of work to get a few cents a day. What sort of articles were you making so much money on? Just curious if maybe it is the topics that I am choosing?

I find by researching and writng everything on a topic in my own words and from experience if I have any in that area will end up with a great article .So I researched articles for the marketplace degree section and my articles were chosen.
Then with this contest on if you are rated in the first five your articles are read more often and I have observed that persons tend to check on your other articles too probably from your profile. So for now research and write to get top articles is my strategy . I have 3 small children so quantity is a major challenge therefore my approach is quality.
currently my daily rate is 10-20 cents per day and I have less than 100 articles.
Rating also seems to help I am not sure how mayb e just being active on the site helps in some way not sure what though. So I try to rate at least 5 articles per day.
So try research and writing for the Marketplace . Do not have to know a topic offhand just gooogle it, read as many different articles on the topic, so you understand it and then go back, organise it in your own words.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips. I think that having the time to write for the site is the key. Some weeks are better than others for me, of course, that is true for most folks. I always wonder how those folks who win the big money in the contest do it; they surely must write a lot of articles!

congratulations for your accomplishment with helium. it is surely a good way of earning those needed money. i am not familiar with the site though. i have come across an entry about it for discussion before i came across this one. whereas yours is about the marketplace that one is about gardening. it is good to know that helium is a site for writers and that what interest you most can be your pieces of entry therein.

I usually only make a few cents a day there. The most I have gotten in one day from them was $2 when I had a home page article. I have managed to make more with Associated Content with only 5 articles than I have on Helium with 57 articles. My articles with Associated Content have made me almost $25 and on Helium, I am only up to just over $12. You might want to check into Associated Content as well.

well, mehale, i am learning that there are a lot of writing sites around here. if associated content pays more than helium, do you intend to write for associated content from here on or, will you still stay both in these two sites at the same time - will it be more fruitful writing articles for these sites?

I have heard that associated content pays more but they are only paying USA writers. This earning option is not available to Canadians. I would have been most happy to earn some bucks there. If I am wrong about this please let me know . Thanks for the information.

I just joined helium a couple of days ago and I'm not sure exactly everything you can do to get money from it. Is writing articles the only thing that earns you money, or is there more?

I have written 2 articles, about chess and on-line poker. I earned 0.44$ with theese articles. Not very much, but I will write more.
Unfortunately my English is not perfect, and it is not easy to write an article in English for me. But it is a good possibility to practice the language.
Helium is very interesting and good site, I like it.
