I was 13 that day when i had my first period..It's month of April and luckily, it's already summer and no school..while i'm washing the plates, i can feel something in my abdomen, i can also feel that theres something wet on my panty, and i feel uncomfortable..when i go to the bathroom, i found out that theres a little blood..i'm little scared but i know i'm already have my monthly period..it's a little bit crampy feeling, and every month i have a dysmenorrhea..so painful..but now that i have already a kid, the pain already subsides..

I started when I was 12, my daughter started when she was 13. I don't remember any cramps in the beginning. I think the cramps came much later when I was an adult and better able to handle them.
However, I have seen my daughter all curled up with cramps and I told her the massage therapist said our initial reaction would be to curl up in the fetal position but we should in fact stretch out and exercise. So my daughter did that. She has been known to take an Ibuprofen for her cramps and it seems to help but she hasn't let them stop her from doing the things she wants so they can't be too bad.
Cramps can get really bad if there is a physical condition like cysts or endometriosis or, in my case, fibromyalgia. Also, I think it gets worse as you get older, but maybe that's just me. I have found natural ways to keep them from getting bad by taking a PMS supplement as well as using Yam cream, just a tiny bit every day to keep the hormones in balance.
