Ok ladies this one is for you. Razor, wax or cream hair removal?

I use a razor, but have been thinking about trying one of those creams (Veet or Nair). I've heard that the creams are supposed to last longer, is it true?

Hi curvychick77! As far as hair removal is concerned i too cannot think of threading or waxing as it is too painful. I won't use the razor because i might injure myself in the process and using razor increases the hair growth. I prefer hair remover cream.

i dont have a hairy legs so i have no problem with removing it.. but if i were to choose maybe i would like cream, as you say its painless.

I usually use a razor just for it's quickness, i have tried waxing but i can only take so much of the hair being ripped out! The creams are ok but they don't always get rid of all the hair. So yeah, i just use the razor if i need to but cream if i get the urge. I'd like to get one of those epilady things with the electric pulse - i dunno, it sends out a pulse of some kind which is supposed to stop the hair from coming back so if i had one of them, i think that would be the best way to go.

I like cream hair removal, but it can be a really big pain in the butt sometimes. You basically need half a bottle to do a good job, so it's a little more expensive than razors and shave gel. You pretty well have to stand around doing nothing while it works so it won't get all over your house, and the smell is NASTY, even the new ones marketed as 'Fresh Scent' and the like, but what do you expect for something that is pretty well dissolving your hair? :) I hate waxing.. I'll get it done when my eyebrows get too unruly, but I couldn't imagine getting it done on a place as large as my legs. I like shaving, too, but it has to be done a lot more often than all the other methods.

Hi curvychick77, When I shave I usually use shaving gel and a ravor. I have not used hair remover cream in years. I stop using hair remover cream because I did not like the smell. I was given a electric shaver when I was in high school OMG that thing hurt. I only get my eye brows waxed. I like the wax but I don't think I handle it everywhere that I shave.

I used to use Nair..but the smell is just unbearable..I use a razor and real good shaving gel for everything now..its easier for me, and there is no horrible smell..waxing is a good method to for "certain areas" but it just hurts a little too much for me...

I've tried all three of them before, but I normally just use a razor. I would like to use a cream, but it never seems to get rid of all the hair when I've used it in the past. I just use the razor cause it's pretty quick and makes my legs feel smoother. :)

I prefer the cream, but the smell is just something awful. It makes me nauceous everytime I use it, so I don't use it that often. I did, however, find a razor that has a "block" of lotion/cream that surrounds the head of the razor, and it sooths the legs as it shaves. I absolutely love it! I'm sorry I don't know what the name of it is, or I'd share it with you.

Hi curvychick77, I use the Venus Razor and I love it! waxing hurts, and the cream doesn't always get all of the hair and your left with patches lol. I find when I use the Venus it never lets me down!

i've never tried razor. i used cream before though i don't have hairy legs. now, i just wax occassionally

Good question, well me personally shave most of the time because it's convient and I don't trust the creams. I will occasionally wax my legs and other parts of my body but I really only go once every six weeks or so for that, it can get expensive. I prefer the wax though , it makes your skin feel super smooth.

I used nair removal cream but the hair grows up easily so i shave it once or twice to rip off the short hairs. I use soap and warm water to shave so to avoid cuts and nicks and moisturize alot afterwards.
