I see people dying.... due to massacre, due to shoot out killngs, murder, abortion and others... but if you were to decide in a matter of life and death: Which life is more important to you? An old person's life? or and infants life?

Probbaly an infants life - a life that is so innocent and free of prejudices. A life that still has a lot of hope and dreams. A life of being content.

an infants life is more important than a old person's life because god had created a child in the womb to live and to know what life is! so its more worth ..in my views.

So, what? is this another anti-abortion discussion. I'm sorry, but the life of someone already alive is more important than the life of a possible person. And lets face it, most kids today are so rude, and selfish, I'd choose an elderly person over most of them any day. However, all life is important, no mattter how old that person happens to be (and I refuse to argue about abortion, since its none of my business what another person does with her body)

I would not want to give up either life, but I guess if it came down to sparing one life for the other, considering everything, the infant has his entire life ahead of him while the elderly person has already lived a long life. That does not make either life less important, but if only one life would be spared and not the other, I would have to save the infant first.

Yes, interesting question. On one hand you have a person that has lived a long life and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. On the other you have one with no knowledge, no experience, nothing. However, it is the infant who can grow and learn. He/she may well be a future leader, or may eventually find a cure for the deadliest diseases. The old person has probably done all they are going to do, yet the infant hasn't even started. In the end, if one had to choose, the infants life is more important.
