Is the GOD still awake??

All of us is living in this world and we all know how had life is? My point here is, why live a life like this if we can live a life full of happiness and gladness. We can!! but we don`t have the control to do things out. It is GOD who can do manae these things, right? But where is GOD right at the times that we needed him the most? Is GOD still there for us? Or the time has come that he had leave us beause of our mortal sins... These are the questions that always came out of my mind when I am suffering from someting painful for me, but I am not the only peson who is asing it, I think even you... and other people... I need something that will give me explanations... drop something here....
