How do you feel when some peole claim that you are from APE!!!

Well to me these people are sick. Apes are animales, they do not have a soul. Man was made in gods image, a ape was not.I do not know where these people get off saying that man evolved from the ape. If so why are there still apes in the zoo's?

Weren't apes in made in an image of god too? How does saying we didn't evolve force a religious conclusion? And how does evolution force an un Christian conclusion.. i think you need to take a look at your premises here.

Ha ha ha!! My sister and I was just talking about this very subject yesterday. I will say it is something that bothers me. As I don't belive we are from ape, monkey or what have you. My sister thinks so and says the monkeys are our cousins. I say no because if we would of evolved from apes..They would not be anymore apes left.. She says yes..They are the ones that haven't evolved..I say if you think so..explain to me what other creature has evolved but what they have evolved from is still around..She had no answer.

I believe in a "Higher Power" but I do not believe in the theory of creation, or intelligent design, or in modern religious divisions. Evolution has been occurring and is documented as progressing even now. It is not merely a "theory" anymore, which can be defined as a "hunch" based on nothing substantial. I enjoy exploring the evolution of religion, society, and the human mind. I like to explore the "why" of things. Great topic! :)

It seems to me that if man evolved from an ape then there would be no apes around today. That only makes sense. I read somewhere that in the 20th century that man evolved about a 1/2 inch or so... that the average man was taller in 1999 than a man in 1900.... I do know that we have an antique bed and if I lay in it my feet hit the footboard. I have wondered it was because people were shorter back then or if it was because the bed was custom made because I am short. I've wondered if God's perfect plan allowed people to evolve to fit their surrounding such as a Norwegian man to be extremely hairy to provide warmth or dark skin in a hot climate to protect from the heat of the sun.....God is so creative and mysterious.... I love to ask those who say we evolved from ages why apes are still around...seems they should all be gone if that were fact.

I think the people who thinks that we are from APE is only a people who tried to make us worry and hate and make a long distance to the GOD

I actually feel sorry for those people. They do not know the glorious Savior Christ our Lord. I have tried to explain it to a few,but they dont want to listen. So I just pray that some day they to will be saved and baptised into the family of God.

well it's still a theory, it hasn't change up to now. if someone would force me to believe it, i'd also force him to believe that i'm not. I agree with you. We are given the bible and it says that man is created in the image of God. We have to hold on to that and not let our fellow human to persuade us to believe what they are believing.

It was never said we came from primates. They said Primates and humans had a common ancestor. get your facts straight next time. It wont kill you to do research..
