I have found on orkut where one can give a rating, on a scale of 1 to 5, to one's friends. But somehow, I find it very difficult to give rating to my close friends. I feel that it is not proper to do so. To me all the friends, whom I have met personally (not on internet) are on a same level. Can you really rate your friends?

Ya, that is a better way of doing it if you are compelled to rate your friends. Thanks for responding.

I don't rate my friends because it's not good to rate them, because rating is also a judgement to a friend, maybe you'll misjudged them. tnx!!!

Yes. I too believe that it is not proper to rate one's friends.

I don't rate my friend because I value them equally. But if ever I ask or force to rate them, I will rate them all the highest rating. They became part of us thou sometimes their are conflict that we cannot be avoided. They say, "Tell me who your friends are and I tell you who you are". Rating them low means YOU rate low as well, so better rate them as you rate yourself.

I would never really rate my friends. It sucks that you have to do that on myspace, but I don't want them to get offended that one's higher than the other.
