Mylot FAQ's

How many of us really red the Mylot FAQ's before joining in. These days........ we tend to join so many websites and dont take the pain of reading the FAQ's of "Terms Of Use" which normally is a long piece of text.
But, we realise the importance of these text later. Say, you are an Indian and join "Hits4Pay" without going through the Terms Of Use and later realise that the program is not applicable to your country.
In Mylot........ I see so many questions being started bu users...... the answers to which is explained in the FAQ's.......... but, we always take the easy way out........ its so easy for us not to take the pains reading the Mylot FAQ's and putting your doubt / question as a discussion.
I think we all should read the FAQ's in here........ you will understand all the things how it works in here........ and then, we will not have those questions started by newbies....... or even older members....... which just requires spending 5 mins of reading the FAQ's.......

When I joined mylot I was asking a lot of questions about their rules. If I took the time to read their FAQ I wouldn't be doing that lol But if I remember well I didn't even know where to find their terms of service and their FAQ.
I'm happy to see that you are talking again about Hits4Pay. I'm sad to see that there are so many people who are in this program and are wasting their time without knowing it. I saw so someone from Malaysa and another from India who posted their proof of payment from Hits4Pay! These are simply fake and they just want to get referrals. The only people who profit from these are the ones from the US, Canada, Australia and UK. Even if a person is not from one of these 4 countries they still can join and their earnings will go to the people who referred them. But they will never get their check from Hits4Pay.
Yes we always go the easy way and we don't read the FAQ. I did that myself. So thank you for posting the link.

there is really a need for us to know whether the coverage of the program/site is favorable enough for us before joining in. neither would i want to be in a site where i will just be wasting my time. thank you for htis thought, votreamie.

I read them the first day. I read them before I even joined. I always read TOS/TOU as I want to know what I'm getting into beforehand, finding out rules and expectations later is going backwards don't you think?
Finding out after you have broken a rule, will do little good for you then, right? Assuming you will get paid and jumping in only to discover later you won't be, does little for you after you've posted a 1000 posts, right?
So, I always read the Terms of Service or Terms of Use of any site. After all, I don't join everything that I come across if I don't like something that I have read on a particular site.

When I joined myLot some 5 months ago I must admit I did not read the FAQ's about myLot, but since then I have read it many times over, even reciting it in several discussions that I have started here about abiding by myLot Policys. I think it is useful for everyone to read it, thank you for posting this useful discussion.

You are right about that. Reading the FAQ is important before signing up on any website. I made sure I always read the FAQs before signing up for any Get Paid sight to see if it fits my needs. It was a while ago when I read the FAQs here on Mylot so sometimes I still have some questions to ask.

I read the FAQ's and the guidelines actually. Well the FAQ's before joining and the guidelines afterwards. I think if more read both we'd have a lot less problems. So many people post discussions that could easily be answered if they read the FAQ's. I also see a ton of discussions posted that violate the guidelines every day. It amazes me at times how many people do this, some who have been here for a long time and should know better. As you pointed out it doesn't take long to read and it would save them a lot of time and trouble if they did so.

hello, kukkad. i have to admit that i am guilty of this trangression, too. until now, i have not read yet the FAQ's surrounding the proper use of mylot. in fact, until now, i have not yet considered going through it. i had my beloved referral explain things for me. that makes me a lazy one to go about that thing, i know. and to think that my beloved referral is not within easy touch.

I think this reminder is much applicable to all new users. I admit when i joined here in mylot i didn't read mylot FAQ's instead i raised this question to my discussion and some questions in my mind were answered. I think everyone must re-READ MYLOT FAQ'S not just once but once in a month maybe.

I did read the FAQ's but only the parts that interested me, i left the others. I read them because i wanted to know what they meant by quality posts and discussions.

I read some parts of them after I joined and I couldn't find where to set my avatar and such, but much more than that I haven't checked I must say. FAQs just tend to be so much of stuff to read, too much to read all at once.

Yes and you are correct. I myself started a question that whether mylot will pay or not. But after reading to the FAQ I understood the reality.
But the FAQs are prepared by the site people and are they genuine? That is why the people asking the others. Or atleast I think so.

yes of course we should all read the faqs, and you are right I am so busy and a member of so many online sites that I get mixed up with the faqs, which site expects what and what not to do on that site. It can get really confusing.

Oh I think that a lot of members do read the FAQ but the thing is over the time we will forget some of the questions on there as for myself I did read the questions before joining but still have something that some days I forget myself as we are only human so I think that maybe once a month that we should maybe re-read the FAQ so as to remind us.

I did read the FAQ because it was a different type of site than what I am used to so obviously the rules had to be different. I'm not saying I remember everything I read, but I know enough to go back and check to see if I can find an ansswer.
