What is worse drink or smoke ?

Just been watching CNN, the discussion today was on the smoke ban.This in my opinion is banning a culture, if anything should be banned Alcohol with it having worse long term side effects. Why isn't there a motion to ban this "dangerous " pleasure that we most indulge in??

Both of them are dangerous but smoking is more dangerous because we always attracted by this ciggarette
