yes that is true thats why i feel real guilty during this holidays, but im a single mom of four kids if i dont work hard i cant promise them a good education up to college. it is really hard to be a mom and a dad at the same time. i also miss some reunions and a lot of parties of my relatives. but my kids attend to it with my mom and my sis but i cant go much with them.

So I guess you are a great singer. Hope I could your songs too. Anyway, it's really hard for your part to have the time for family. Hopefully you can still give them much. We need to treasure them. Thank's for responding!

Ohh, that was really hard. A single mom, I know you're doing the best that you can just to support your children.

Sadly, there are no holidays for us here in our company :( I am working overseas now in an office which manages restaurants, a bar and a boutique so we're still open even on holidays. I even had to ask permission from my boss just to have my christmas and New year's break! That's one thing I miss too back there at home. We have a lot of holidays and PGMA even declares special non-working holidays! :p

I am a confirmed workaholic. I used to like working on holidays because there is no one to disturb me and I can work in peace. I enjoy the serenity of the office ambience during holidays. It would be good if I am paid double working during holidays but this is only a dream :P Nowadays, I look forward to holidays because of myLot. It is when I can have the full day to myself making some money instead of spending money loitering the streets. lol.

As a person working in a medical profession, there is no holidays for us. sometimes i get lucky and i get to have a holiday or two off during the year, but usually its regular work for me.

I think so, it's really hard to be in a medical profession. You have to sacrifice time for other people lives. Thank's for sharing your thoughts!

When its holiday, its holiday for me. I see to it that i am with my family, spending quality time with them and just relax after all the busy time in school. I have been studying a lot so when i got the chance to relax, i take the opportunity.

I'm no longer working due to a back injury, but when I was working at the one gas station where I worked, I would volunteer to work a shift that allowed me to be with my family for much of the day before going to work. This allowed me to get double pay (which we needed badly) and still spend most of the holdiday with my family.

I don't, as much as possible. I am a freelance writer who works from home and deadlines are a part of my work life. As far as spending time with my family goes (whose members are actually the reasons why I try to earn in the first place) I do try not to work during weekends and holidays by avoiding the computer and have more bonding moments with them. Work-a-holic? Sometimes :)
