What to do to prevent the baby from crying?

If your baby or the baby you take care of for your friend is crying heavily,what to do to make him not cry?I often take care of the little baby for my sister cause she is very busy all the time(busy with her business).But the problem is:the little baby often cries. Then i don't know what to do.Can you help me?

Baby dont cry unnecessarily!
Maybe the baby is hungry!
Maybe the baby is sleepy!
Maybe the baby is afraid!
Maybe the baby is uncomfortable in its clothing or environment!
Maybe the baby doesnt like u!
