City of Angels - angel gave up his wings to be with his beloved, sad thing is his beloved died. Titanic - self sacrifice Green Mile - story about the lives of guards on death row leading up to the execution of a wrongly accused man who has the power of faith healing Pearl Harbor - 2 friends fell inlove with the same girl, but one died in battle The Crow - a man brutally murdered comes back to life as an undead avenger of his and his fiancee's murder. (In this movie while shooting Brandon Lee died from accidental gunshot wound from faulty prop revolver) Armagedon - a father who gave his life for the future of his daughter Pay if forward - story of a teacher who challenged his students to come up with ideas to change the world.... for extra marks for class. Bicentennial Man - robot wants to be human Six Sense - boy who communicates with spirits that don't know they're dead seeks the help of a disheartened child psychologist. The Passion of Christ -- no comment The Red Violin - if my memory serves me right he created the red violin using his beloved's blood to make it red, hair for the string... everytime you play it, it would captivate you and you'll hear and feel the music... His beloved died of child birth. Iam Sam - mentally challenge father took care of his normal daughter lucy. Man in the Moon - the tractor accident... Lorenzo's Oil - documentary of parent's single minded refusal to accept the doctor's grim prognosis, willing to do and understand how to prevent and prolong their only son from the sickness of adrenoleukodystorphy (ALD) The Ryan White Story - documentary of the child, Ryan White, who was diagnosed of AIDs at the tender age of 13: Ryan contracted HIV through blood-used products used to treat his hemophilia. He learned that he had the virus when he contracted a life-threatening lung infection. At the time, he was told he had no more than 6 months to live. Whilre recuperating and thinking about the limited time he had left, Ryan told his mother Jeanne that he wanted to live a normal life, go to school, be with friends, and enjoy day to day activities.
