New Theme Song

is it only me or you cant stand hearing that opening song (Somebody Save Me) over and over... Ok, it was cool in the 1st season, maybe in the 2nd season too. I guess they should change the theme song every season. What do you think ? Any guesses on new songs ?

I agree with you. It was so cool the first time, I even downloaded it and all. But it's not that I can't stand it now, I guess I just tune out during the opening so I don't really hear it. I think that a steady theme song is important for a TV show because they get recognized with it. Like if you play I'll Be There for You by the Rembrants you right away think of Friends right? There's this show I've seen that made kind of a remix of their opening song in the successive seasons. Maybe that's a good idea for Smallville.

I don't know about that. Maybe the graphics but not the song. It kinda pumps me up for the show.
I was really into the original theme of the cartoon Justice League. After they changed the format of the song when they transitioned to Justice League Unlimited I just couldn't get pumped up to enjoy the show. I hope they leave the Smallville theme untouched.

I like the theme song 'somebody save me' for the smallville series and to change it now would reun the entire series... there is only one series left - number 7 and then it is over for those of you that cannot stand the theme song... so just bear with it a while longer... the theme song is the most appropriate anyway... so just be patient hey... I am looking forward to the final series...
