Have u noticed how gayle has been appearing more and more frequently on oprah's show, on her radio show (duh with her name in lights), in her mag, at public appearances, etc etc. What gives? Is oprah trying to be famous for having a female best friend or is she trying to drum up some fame and sponsorships for her mate (Is gayle that hard up and in need of celebrity?? I find the whole thing v odd. If gayle isn't part of the show, she's on the fone or her name's mentioned or such such tripe. What is going on here??!!! Enuf with the gayle and oprah show. Bring back the usual oprah. We don't need a duet!

It's not up to us. It's called Oprah for a reason. The show belongs to Oprah and she can have whoever she wants on her show. She is the richest lady in the world and Gayle is her best friend. SO I think you need to get use to seeing them as a duet or don't watch the show.

as u say, the show is called oprah, not oprah and friends, or oprah and gayle, but just oprah. w/o oprah, gayle would still b an unknown and she should quit riding on her so called best friend's coat tails. As for the show belonging to oprah, does it really when it's influenced by ratings which r influenced by viewers?

Yes, it is most certainly still Oprah's show. Without Oprah, there would be no Oprah show. And Gayle has been around for a long time. She was on some of Oprah's shows from the start. It's her best friend, she can have her on as much as she wants. And of course it's not called Oprah and Gayle, but it is Oprah and it is her choice. It's not a big deal. I mean Gayle really isn't on that much anyway. But who really cares? As long as Oprah is still on the show, it shouldn't matter. She still has good shows, at times.
