Do you do homework with your children? Do you understand the "new math" that they are learning? Do you know where to go online for resources to help both the student and you to understand what they are learning in school? Do you show them how to navigate the web to find and use the online educational resources that are available?

To me there is nothing more important than education.
I'm Italian and in this period, in my country, people look really crazy, in our schools it's happening the strangest things.... rude students, violent teachers.... every day we are forced to read news about disgusting behaviours by teachers and students.
My son is only 7, but I stay with him the most possible and I teach him everything, we speak a lot and we discuss about many subjects. To me the most important thing are not his marks, but the way he behaves with his friends and with his teachers. Respect is the most important thing he must learn.

I think that moral education rather value education and ethics are some of the things that must be instilled inthe children from a very young age - the children of tomorrow who are the future guardians of the world --.
They have to be taught right things in life so as to have a healthy future progeny & life after .
Behaviour ,culture and conducting oneself where ever you are shows how well u r brought up or, how well you are living in a civilsed society. There may be many stress & other adult society related problems but the fact remains we are human beings & should behave in a civilised mannner with less violence & tolerance, revrence respect towards each other and especially have respect for older people have care & concern & be less selfish in their motives

today's children are very smart they are able to manage things much better than us . they are able to handle any electronic gadgets better than us .
They will excel in any thing much faster & adapt much faster but you only need to guide them .You haveto spend quality time and teach them the way to do things they learn to pick up the shortcuts without you even telling them about it. they are much wiser & alert. Once they learn the way they are more focussed & know how to reach their goals. Now a days children are more focussed career oriented & less emotional than anyone of us. They need to reach the top and hence the competition to excel and you are only aguide to help them reach the top

If my mom had to teach me that I'd still be in first grade now. Kids these days tend to be a lot faster with technology than their parents. I think parents which grew up without the internet won't be able to help their kids that much unless they did a lot of catching up with the internet as a medium and such later on. Most older people I know though.... gawd :P, I bet they'd be able to find the power on button, let stand find handy sites like wikipedia and such.
