what is love?

what is love? is it when you are going out with someone and yall are having a good time dating but you dont plan on staying with them forever or is it when you know that he or she is your match and want to be with them the rest of your life? i would like to know every ones opinion please

I do think its both. Sometimes love means that you never want to leave and sometimes love says that i can never forget you but because of the love you have to leave. I think people get caught up on spending their love a certain way with each other when i believe that you cannot force it. For example if I saw my gf once a day for a week or once a week for 2 months.. each day I could love her the exact amount but there are many who claim showing up day after day... well that that proves more loving. And i disagree.

I really have no idea I believe i know what love really is. I know what the fantasy of love is. But I believe itg is someone you can be comfortable with and learn to appeciate.

love is so many splendor thing, love is pain and understanding, God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son to save you and me i think thats the greatest LOVE explanation all about.

Love is a situation when both ur mind and ur soul are out of condition. It is a feeling which cannot be expressed in words...So for me
To luv is nothing..
To be luved is something..
To luv and be luved is everything...
It is a situation when u only want the happiness of ur luved one form life...

LOVE is feeling something to be leatned. its a deep emotions toward a human being, its hard to define love in real essence but according to 1Cor13:
love is patience
love is kind
it is not envy
it is not boast
it is not proud
it is not rude
it is not self-seeking
it is not easily angered
it keeps no records of wrongs
love does not delight in evil
but rejoice with the truth
its always protects
its always trusts
always hope
always preserver
love never fails.
there are many kinds of love, which one do you prefer?

well, its a feeling, something which you may not really describe in words - and poetry is a good start!! otherwise it is really difficult to define love, especially if you mean it in the wider sense, not just the girl-boy relationship.
there are other relationships as well, not all relationships have names, all they have in common is love. even the very extreme, like love for nature and god or the other extreme like loving your own self - narrissist are all forms of love, just different manifestations!
