What about your work place? It is necessary to wear uniform there and is it boring for you? Do you prefer formal or casual clothes when you work? Do you think that the bussiness clothes in gray and strict tones are theese ones what you like or you are just too patient to get rid of them and to be again in your favourite jeans:-P?

I think personally it depends entirely on where you work, I work in a superstore and everyone wears the same uniform so that you're easily identified in such a big place to be able to help people. Plus it maintains an element of professionalism so that you're not dealing with what looks like some Joe Bloggs off the street who for all intents and purposes just got up and walked into the shop and took on a job, (be that or be that not as it may.) After all, you wouldn't expect to walk into a bank and ask for a loan from a guy in torn shorts and a vest top would you? You'd expect something far more formal, where as if it's in say an industrial area, you wouldn't expect someone to be wearing a pinstriped suit while working a drill.

Where I work we wear suits and ties during the week and get to dress more casual on fridays. it is important for us to portray a sinse of professionalism so I do think that are unifor is nesecary. I don't mind it really, I can be just as comfortable in a pair of jeans as I can anything else.

I get to wear JEANS to work! I love it! This is the first job in my career that I am not required to wear business casual. It's so much less expensive for me to wear jeans to work, instead of fancy dress clothes that I have to have dry cleaned! And I am so much more comfortable!
