Believe in love at first sight? Is it love if the person doesn't love you?

What if a person fell in love at first site, then got to know the guy and fell in love with his personality too? Would that count? I believe in love at first sight, but I think it's very very rare...Is it love if the person doesn't love you back? I think you can love someone, but to be in love they have to love you back. Thoughts?
