He is probably about 3 months old now and he still wont stop biting me. he dont bite anyone else as much as he bites me. i feed him, i play with him. he seems to always want to be near me, but the biting makes me think he hates me.

Most Kittens do that as part of coming off their teething stage, Others do what I call love bites for affection and never really grow out of it easily... the way I teach my kittens not to bite is when they start to bite I gently hold my finger on their tongue for a second after each bite usually it will surprise them and they will pull back or spit your finger out as fast as they can :) ... or touch their nose as there are some kittens out there who will have no problem showing off their bulldog chomping on your finger. Had one little wild siamese kitten do this to me a few years ago man that was a wild lil bugger.. I pulled my hand away and it hung by it's teeth it refused to let go had to pry the little bugger off.. so when handling wild or feral cats that is not the best no biting teaching approach. The other apporach is to gently put your finger over a nosterol.. they don't like that no more then we like our bite, and eventually they will connect that with a bite behavior, and they will no longer bit. Not do not plug it just enough over the nose so that it tickles as we do not want to suffocate our little kitties :) - DNatureofDTrain

Biting is part of kitten play. When they're little, you pretty much have to bear with it and play along, even though their little teeth and claws hurt. You can gently start training him by just removing your hand or putting him down every time he bites. I have 3 older cats, and when they play together they always nip at each other. It got so bad one time that they had scabs up and down their backs. When I asked the vet about it, he called what they had "play wounds". None of them ever bite me any more, and yours will stop, too.
