This actually happened to me because my husband and I were fixed up and only communicated via email and telephone for the first month or so. I had already fallen hard for him by the time I met him (remember the Savage Garden song, "I knew I loved you before I met you"?). It took me a little while to reconcile the actual man with the voice on the phone and words on the computer screen, but then he took me dancing, and then when he kissed me I was GONE! The actual appearance I don't really think is that important, but I do think you have to find a spark in something. Does that make sense?
