I dont believe there is any set amount you get per post but you are given more money if you post quality responses and create topics of interest and you will get less money if you post one or two line responses to questions and create topics with no value at all, e.g Whats your favourite colour.
If you come to Mylot with making money on your mind then you wont get far and will find it difficult to get involved with discussions and the mylot community. Answer peoples questions to the best of your ability and create open ended topics that encourage people to express their thoughts on the matter and your earnings will increase.
500th post - woohoo.

It takes almost 100 posts to get to $1.00, but if you posted an image with each one of those posts then it would only take 50 so try uploading pictures with your discussions to make more money.

It doesn't take almost 100 posts to make a dollar, unless you are also counting comments that don't change your post count. I hit enough to make my first payout last week. My goal is to hit at least $15 before payout date.

You know something... Is anyone really sure on this one anymore. I feel there are a lot of Factors that take part in this. But at the same time, you need to remember, that there are a lot of users here in myLot. Of course, a lot of them are not active, but then what about those of us who are?
The best way to increase your Earnings on here are answer discussions, and respond with decent length answers back more than 1 sentence in length, and try answering discussions that require some thought with them as well.
Just a Suggestion, and Happy Earning.

I would post somewhere around fifty posts in order to earn a little over a dollar. Also, make sure you are responding as descriptively as possible. Writing more than five lines increases your earnings as does having a discussion you started that garners more than ten posts. Uploading photos also earns you more money per photo (only added to discussions and responses though) and of course, if you get referrals and they are active then that's more money for you as well.

I read some of the responces to this question, and Im not going to say that there is a set number of posts to get paid $1. It really is determined by the quality of your post. You could probably post like 100 one liners, and get paid $1 or 20 posts that really say something and get paid the same. This is completely a quality thing. That is the reason that we are all getting paid something different, and you hear about the people who get paid very little, or the people who have money taken away. Just keep your posts quality, and you will get paid. Also if you get referrals you will have a percentage of their earnings. I think that is how the big earners on mylot do it. Good luck :p

I find it harder. I have to really write a lot, and I do not ramble on so I tend to say what I have to in as concise as possible. I find I have to write posts, and for that, finding something I want to say in the proper interest is hard. Also one needs as many friends as possible to respond to your posts, and of course, you have to make quality posts. I also suspect that the higher your rating, the more pay you get, but cannot confirm it.
